Installation steps

1

Insert the back mount

Orient the back mount with the arrow facing toward you and pointing upward. Slide it through the lower grille opening and hold it centered in the top hole, sitting flush against the grille.

Step 1 — back mount inserted through grille
2

Position the front mount

Press the front mount against the back mount from the front. If needed, use a strip of masking tape to hold the two mounts together while you work.

3

Join the two mounts

Using the 4 #10-24 × 1″ screws, fasten the front and back mounts together through their aligned holes. Tighten with your #2 Phillips screwdriver until snug.

Step 3 — mounts fastened together
4

Attach the plate frame

Place the license plate frame onto the installed mount base, aligning it with the two pre-drilled pilot holes. Drive the 2 self-tapping screws through the pilot holes to secure the frame.

Step 4 — plate frame attached to mount base
5

Mount the license plate

Attach your license plate to the frame using the 4 remaining #10-24 × ¼″ screws. Tighten until secure. Avoid overtightening to prevent cracking the plate.

Step 5 — license plate mounted to frame

Installation complete. No drilling required, all fasteners are mechanical and reversible. If the mount feels loose after installation, re-check that both mounts are flush and all 4 joining screws are fully tightened.

Note: Pre-production model used for documentation and images. Final product may vary slightly in looks, but the steps are the same.
