Hey there! We’re Karie and Austin, the team behind Monrovia Press, a family print shop here in central Maryland.

For us, craft and mechanical problem-solving go hand in hand. Karie is a third-generation printer carrying on her family's legacy, using the same antique letterpress machinery her dad operated for over 50 years to craft tactile paper goods. Meanwhile, Austin brings a background as a mechanic, lifelong auto enthusiast, and tech tinkerer to the 3D printing side, engineering precision parts and custom functional components.
